Yeah, okay Barry. Hello? HIV/AIDS. He was in college in the 80’s. That’s when AIDS showed up in this country. No woman in her right mind would hook up with someone who claimed he was gay in the 80’s, especially with AIDS running rampant at the time. And any man who claimed he was gay, and wanted to have sex with a woman, would have been shot because the threat of AIDS was so high in the beginning. I started working in NY State’s prison system in 1980. AIDS first showed up in the prisons not long after. Inmates who tested positive were put in quarantine back then. And the death rate was high for people infected with AIDS at the time. Homos back then were treated like people who had the plague.
This woman says that a man making such an assertion would have definitely been off my dating list.
Far left women were easy in my day, at least the ones who were not lesbians. Probably still are. Horndogs in my day either put up the pretense of appealing to their nasty sense of leftism or they didn’t talk politics and come across as strongly hetero for a little bim bam, thank you ma’am, and moved on.

I read somewhere that Cary Grant (who was married 4 or 5 times) was sometimes suspected of being a homosexual, and that helped him get women to go to bed with him (perhaps they wanted to find out if the rumor was true).

THere was no way a man being gay was an enticement to any woman. There are much cleaner, less painless, quicker methods of suicide.

There was a fictional story in Playboy (~1970) about a guy who used that strategy. It was written by Art Buchwald. The general idea is that the woman views “turning” a gay man as a challenge. So it’s possible, but almost no straight man would debase himself to that degree to get laid.

Obama wasn’t a typical Baby Boomer. He was more like someone from the later generations — X, Millennial, Z, etc. — so this isn’t entirely unbelievable.
