Bull shit! Where was your selective outrage when Bobby Jindal ran for President?

There wasn't any outrage. Look at my posting history since 2008. You'll see I never bought any of this birther nonsense.

They are GODS chosen People and they get the benifets, AND the Judgments as such, and the same Judge that judges them will judge you and me.

Oh really? What should we make of this statement from you?

The FEC has allowed clearly ineligible candidates to write a check and file since at least the 1970s.

It's pretty clear to me that you are indeed questioning this so called "birther nonsense".........

Nice try but epic fail bro.......

Israel doesn’t really need US military or economic aid. It is US diplomatic aid that is most important to Israel.

“Are you spouting the nonsense that I’m not Jewish? I’m 100 percent”

Of course you are. But if you plant a flag somewhere in west Texas and declare some county “Israel”, it still isn’t.

And no, I am not anti-Semitic. I even like you guys much more than moslems or Anglicans. And Mark Twain had a fine take on jews that is close to my philosophy. Just fyi.

Until the “Marshall Plan” the U.S. government understood that it did not have the power or authority to seize money from citizens in order to give it to foreigners or even as welfare within the country.

“but when I heard him say that there was no election fraud in 2020”

That’s NOT what he said, and you know it. Post the whole quote, so nobody falls for your disinformation spin.

So tired of FR’s “rapid response teams” who just lie. Half-truths are full lies, of the worst kind.

These teams have ruined FR. It’s why the funding drives flail now.

I post almost entirely elsewhere now, where I can block idiots. So much nicer.

Biden’s been shredding the Abraham Accords.

Biden’s been shredding the Abraham Accords.

Of course he has - the Abraham Accords established peace between Israel and two Arab nations, but the first real progress toward Mideast peace in decades means nothing to a senile man. His handlers are far more interested in ways to funnel money to an Iranian theocracy that hates us and is busy building nuclear weapons.

In this case you are right with respect to the veracity of Ramaswamy's quote.

Ramaswamy did not say exactly that there was "no election fraud". That was my interpretation from the thread I originally saw it in (which refers to video linked below) and which had the exact quote in the title.)

My error was in not stating that was my opinion based on what he said, and in not including the exact quote in this specific thread to buttress my interpretation, and that would have been a useful and helpful thing to do.

And for that error I do apologize.

But I in no way apologize for or disown the interpretation, especially in the context of Ramaswamy's "stick-the-finger-in-the-air" method of triangulation.

You may disagree with my interpretation because Ramaswamy may be the preferred candidate of the day for you or others. That's fine. If you want to have civil discourse, let's have it. I suggest you leave the ad hominem attacks out of it.

At the 5:18 mark of the linked video he says: LINK: "I have personally not seen evidence of widespread voter fraud of the kind that you usually get with the stolen election narrative".

So I stand guilty of saying I heard him say that there was "no election fraud in 2020". That itself is a fair criticism.

But I did not need to post the whole quote, so nobody falls for a "disinformation spin". In the thread that featured the quote and the linked video, the exact quote was exactly referred to in the title. And I did listen to it. And read the account of it.

And in my opinion, that is indeed "Clintonesque triangulation" of the worst kind by Candidate Ramaswamy, particularly the weak "the kind you get with the stolen election narrative" statement, not to mention the "I have personally not seen evidence" part of the quote.

A lawyer-esque statement of "I haven't see it" (if he truthfully, "hasn't seen it" it is because he hasn't looked) to distance himself from it, and the execrable "stolen election narrative" to separate himself at least in front of that audience from the 'cranks on the right' he doesn't want to link himself to because that might lose him some of those precious votes of the "undecided" voters. (The same voters who can't decide to vote for Biden it he runs, or whichever Republican runs. Utterly asinine, and that is classic triangulation for that audience, to pander wholly to the intellectually weakest segment of the electorate.)

So, as I said, if you want to have civil discourse, let's have it without the ad hominem attacks. I did not attack you in that way, nor did I attack people who might support a Ramaswamy candidacy, because there is enough of that occurring on all sides.

I am old enough to remember the incident of the USS Liberty, and I have read of some of the accounts and explanations to have a better understanding of the incident than most.

But Israelis are the victims of those same things against them as a result of our actions. While we may not have directly fired on one of their vessels as they did the Liberty, our actions and pressures have been responsible for the deaths of many more Israelis than were killed on the Liberty.

We run spies agains them the same way they run spies against us, and entities in our government and media popped champagne corks when their douchebag leftist candidates won.

We have plenty of things in our history to be ashamed of that rival the attack on the USS Liberty. History has shown that being an ally of the United States has dangers all its own, and you might even end up like Diem in 1963. So we aren’t saints in these matters either.

That said, in military matters, the Israelis were very close and helpful to us good allies would be. Their work on the hardware we gave them (such as the changes we made in our own military hardware to the A-4 Skyhawk based on their sharing of anti-missile defensive systems, as one example) proved that, and undoubtedly saved the lives of many of our pilots in Southeast Asia.

I am open to suggestion that the Israel today is not deserving of our fair treatment, but the historical analysis, in my opinion, differs.

And as I fully stand behind it, my interpretation of that statement on election fraud means he is soft pedaling it to get votes.

He is deliberately-for political purposes-stating that Election Fraud (of course, of the distasteful kind the 'smelly right-wingers' who subscribe to the "stolen election narrative" believe in, didn't happen. (To his field of vision, of course, which can be as wide or as narrow as he as a politician wishes to make it, as a means to serve his political ends)

The fact of the matter is, this deliberate degradation of the electoral process will have more to do with the fall of this country than even our fiscal irresponsibility or the illegal open borders efforts they are using to attempt to switch the demographics.

If we don't fix that now open, arrogant, and unashamed corrupt of the electoral process, we aren't going to get a chance to fix our finances or illegal immigration. The country will fall apart before that.

And Ramaswamy is saying that he didn't see any of that election fraud.

So for his purposes, at least in front of that audience he was trying to get votes from, he was saying (for their consumption) that those allegations are not true and he, as their candidate, didn't see any of it, so if we elect him, nothing is going to be done about it.

You may feel differently, and that election fraud is not the issue of the day. If you do, we will disagree.

But I will not support any candidate who does not make fixing and prosecution of electoral fraud a top agenda item.

I still have to read articles, to see what Ramaswamy actually said. If that IS what he said, I no longer like him. Regardless, I’m still voting for Trump.

The FEC has no role in determining the eligibility of candidates.
