If he was non-responsive for 18 minutes till he was revived, then what brain damage may have occurred to him. That’s a long time to be clinically dead. I think I remember reading years ago that after five minutes there may be brain damage. Has that critical information changed? Then again, I have read that the brain can function for up to 20 minutes after death.
