Some posters have noted that Trump (or his organization) cannot post Harrison Floyd’s bail because that would be witness tampering.
I don’t quite understand this. Did Floyd personally witness Trump doing something that was allegedly illegal? And given that Floyd is sitting in jail, he seems less like a witness, and more like a suspect.
Side point: Other posters have said that Trump cannot be expected to pay for everything. Well, bail money is not lost money. If the defendant appears in court, the bail money is returned.
If Trump could, and did, post Floyd‘s bail, that would be a great thing. Morally, it would be the right thing to do. Plus, it would certainly resonate with many blacks.
According to the yahoo article, Floyd had some previous run-ins with the FBI and that’s why he remains in jail. In our time when truth is missing in action, and propaganda of the lie has replaced truth it may be a while before we’ll know the truth of why Floyd is still in jail.
Floyd was part of the group that went to investigate the lady who worked Georgia elections and put through ballots along with her grand-daughter multiple times (the suitcases under the table). Last week they posted the transcript of her saying it was fraud what they were doing she wanted to talk but only to certain people, not a white person but black person. He was one of them that went to talk to her. She got scared and backed out (I’m sure she got threatened). So they think he was tampering, harassing her, etc.
