As I recall, Paul Harvey suffered an engine failure whilst ascending out of St. Louis - I can't remember exactly but it feels like a 1974-1979 story (1979 was what came to mind at first).

Been a long time since I read it - 40+ years - as I recall his wife was on board, it was a two-engine plane (small private jet) and Paul Harvey safely returned to the airport, landing with one functioning engine.

Your comment reminded me of that but it's been too long for me to have the full details.

Funny that we are talking about Paul Harvey. I was with my sisters over the holiday weekend, and Mr. Harvey was mentioned. Our Dad loved his show, and I think he got to meet Mr. Harvey once when he was a young businessman. I haven’t thought or talked about Mr. Harvey in many years, but it’s funny to me that he was just discussed among the three of us, and now, he’s mentioned again. If only we had more men like Paul Harvey instead of Joe Burden.
