This is carry-on stuff - these TSA agents are stealing from travelers who are forced to put their belongings in plastic trays and then submit to the TSA’s gropings. And they get away with it, even when caught red-handed on video.
Just went through that last weekend on trip to vegas. When I asked about my cash and not wanting to put in basket, he said, just hold it in your hand when you go through X-ray. So I did and no problem except for the staples still inside me that showed up and had to get patted down.
Having to put our wallets in the plastic trays is another one of our legacies from the religion of peace.
