Exactly! Our taxpayer dollars have absolutely funded the R&D for working DEWs and HELs, but I have no idea if they were deployed here. But the local government/police absolutely condemned their own citizens to a horrific and excruciating death when they blocked those roads and prevented people from fleeing the inferno.
The devil is preparing a special ring in hell for the folks that ordered and carried out that response.
I am embarrassed that people might see articles like this on FR and think we all believe such nonsense.

Add to that, DEW’s require straight line targeting. You can’t aim it into the air and make it curve down to hit another surface target.
You are being too logical here. THEY are able to do anything. THEY can target individual cars, houses, dogs, animal by products. But what I don’t understand is why THEY aren’t targeting those dastardly Russians and make Ukraine a winner in short order. You know, free up these magical weapons to keep the Trump airplane in the crosshairs for just the right moment.
I haven’t seen anywhere that states DEW are banned, where can I get one or make one?

The size of the power source for such a weapon would require a ship or MRAP sized truck. You are not putting that on a drone or aircraft that goes unnoticed.
The fire was caused by dry grass, high winds, and lots of fuel on the ground. A cigarette could have caused this.

I have seen exactly that happen. A car near our home struck a telephone pole, burst into flame, and simply melted. Nothing was left except ash, some burnt, twisted metal, and pools of melted aluminum. I picked up a small aluminum ingot as a souvenir.
