LISTEN: DeSantis Backers Jenna Ellis & Steve Deace Rant About Founding Fathers Being in Hell for Not Repenting Over Slavery
The National Pulse ^ | JAKE WELCH

Posted on 09/18/2023 1:30:23 PM PDT by SoConPubbie

Jenna Ellis, a former Trump lawyer turned hysterical anti-Trumper, referred to the 45th President as “malignant” during an unhinged rant involving establishment Republican Steve Deace, who bizarrely suggested America’s Founding Fathers have gone to hell.

Deace, who wanted Trump to lose in 2016, now supports Ron DeSantis for the 2024 GOP nomination. The Florida Governor recently tweeted that he was “proud” to have received Deace’s endorsement. In the clip below, Deace can be heard insisting:

“[W]e need to remember there are Founding Fathers who are in hell for all of eternity, who did some great work, but they didn’t bow the knee to Jesus either. They didn’t repent of owning slaves either. And they’re in hell now because of where — because of that, those decisions. And so will [Trump] be.”

Ellis, agreed with Deace, responding: “Yeah, really incredibly well said Steve, and I think that you perfectly articulated exactly how I as a voter feel.” She added: “Why I have chosen to distance is because of that, frankly, malignant narcissistic tendency to simply say that [Trump’s] never done anything wrong.”

Ellis is one of the 18 associates of the former President who have been criminally indicted by the Democratic Fulton County District Fani Willis in Georgia. In April 2022, she offered to defend the pro-LGBT, groomer-friendly Disney Corporation against DeSantis’s actions against them. She has since been spotted at Disney parks wearing apparel connoting a membership of their private ’33 Club’ which costs $60,000 to join, as well as an annual $25,000 in dues.

Ellis recently started a crowdfunder for her legal bills, raising over $200,000 so far, equivalent to almost 10 years of ’33 Club’ membership dues. Ellis has since tweeted at The National Pulse staff to admit that despite posing as a 33 Club member, she is in fact not one.

If there are Founding Fathers who are bound for the Second Judgement, it is because they didnt bend the knee to Jesus Christ, not because of thevskavery issue itself. They couldnt end slavery and form the country at the same time.

So, I suppose that Constitution thingy they made is also tarnished. What do you think happens if that becomes the rule, Steve?

Does anyone watch Deace any longer than it takes to surf to the next channel? He’s like the hall monitor in 6th grade who grew up to have a show on The Blaze. One more reason why Im still suspicious of Beck.

Founding Fathers are in hell due to slavery???

Did any historic figure of previous generations, have a 21st century politically correct worldview?

And does this mean all historic figures must be condemned? Is that the mindset?

And if that is the mindset then Liberals are not allowed to honor anyone from before year 2000, or sometime after.

Liberal icons such as FDR JFK LBJ must be condemned using such criteria. Just as an example none of those people did anything for homosexuality. None of them had anything to say about homosexual marriage . None of them had anything to say about transgender issues.

So if they are pushing the idea, that to be worthy of honor and respect, any historic figure must have shared the current liberal consensus on the issues of today, then these people are pushing an absird concept. Because then all historic figures fall short. All historic figures were failures.

It’s that mentality that led to “The Killing Fields” in Cambodia.

“Year Zero” - everything that came before was wrong, so we must start over again.

These Woke clowns need to read the book of Philemon.

These “conservatives” have been totally co-opted because they have rejected Biblical teaching, and internalized the definitions of sin and salvation from Progressives.

Either you live by the Authority of the Bible, or the “Authority” of the Woke.

These two bow their knees to the Woke.

They had faith in Jesus Christ. They are not in Hell. Didn’t George Washington free his slaves?

Christians while Jesus was in earth had slaves. The New Testament gives instructions on how slaves are to be treated.

Deace and that tight-ass Jenna presume to be more enlightened than Jesus and the apostles?

Upon his death, I believe so. More importantly, they created a country where the slaves had to be freed in order for America to be true to itself.

“...they didn’t bow the knee to Jesus either. They didn’t repent of owning slaves either. And they’re in hell now because of where — because of that, those decisions.”

And how would Deace know whether or not the Founding Fathers ‘bowed the knee to Jesus’? As for not repenting the owning slaves, I don’t think that is a Biblical sin, since the Bible instructs slaves to obey their masters.

And is Deace aware that the Founders did what was possible to keep slavery from spreading. Before the Constitution slavery was excluded from the Northwest Territory and the importation of slaves could be banned twenty years after the ratification of the Constitution, which it was by a Congress that still had some Founders in it.

Must be nice to be so righteous as to be able to condemn people who lived a very different time for not have the foresight as to what today’s sentiments would be. I am sure Mr Deace is free of any faults our descendants two hundred years from now may have of our times.

I don’t understand why America continues to take all of the attacks for allowing slavery when it was practiced everywhere in the world at that time! The natives enslaved other tribes. Every country was involved in some form of slavery, and there are countries today where it is STILL going on.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but wasn’t America one of the first countries to abolish slavery? Third, possibly, with the Quakers in Britain being the first protesters? You would think the world was a faultless paradise of equality and then there’s big, bad America, the only horrible nation that bought and sold slaves. It was everywhere.

establishment Republican Steve Deace,

Establishment Republican Steve Deace? That ruins the credibility of the article in the first paragraph.

Deace went cuckoo on the R Party for nominating Romney and McCain. The R establishment in Iowa tried to get him booted off his station in Iowa before he went national, because he called them out on their hypocrisy and BS.

Deace is a lot of things, but he sure ain't Establishment.

They are apparently not much as researchers or historians, but as a disclaimer, I don't personally care for either of them.

Back when his reach was pretty much limited to what WHO radio's tower could pump out, Deace was very good at baiting some of Iowa's evangelicals into becoming caricatures. Some of that crowd are still at it today, being holier than anyone else in the room while not above accepting some tithes or in-kind favors from campaigns (for research or charity purposes, I guess).
