You could argue this is unconstitutional unless they require photo ID when you show up to vote.

Otherwise, they'll register you automatically. Then they'll cast a vote using your name because you tend not to show up to vote.

This has been legal ever since Dianne Feinstein's motor voter law was signed. This is only restating what was already law.
