It started during covid, watched A few high-speed chases on YouTube and of course more was suggested and as I began to watch him I came to the realization that there is no situation where the cops must stop the car that is more important than the innocent lives the cops are endangering by chasing them. So I made this video with that in mind would love your feedback.

I live near Baltimore. Cops don’t do anything there because they aren’t backed up. The effect is lawlessness. I see it on the highways outside Baltimore as people drive however they want.
My son is a trucker here. He just moved back and started driving locally. He said it’s scarier here than anywhere he’s been.
When the cops begin a chase then back off and let the guy go, why would anyone ever bother to stop?
I guess you think if a crook runs away, the cops should just let them go...
So just let criminals run amok, huh? Once criminals know you won’t chase them guess what happens?
Suggestion... Stay out of cop’s business or go BE a cop.
Everyone thinks they know what cops should do. I say they don’t until they’ve actually been a cop.
I ended up in the middle of a chase once. Let’s just say, one officer made a decision that put me and another driver in danger. What he did made no sense, as far as I could tell, and it could’ve gotten us shot. The police should chase criminals, but please be sensible about it.
This is why cops need killer drones.
Of course, they will be used for other purposes.
Yes when police engage criminals anywhere whether it be a high speed chase or a response to a robbery there is the possibility of innocent people being hurt or killed. It is indeed tragic. Criminal behavior has consequences.
When caught, if the driver was dragged out and clubbed into a quadropedic there wouldn’t be a need for high speed chases.
I stopped arguing with everyone 20 years ago.

That’s your first problem.
The cops did that with a guy named Rodney King in 1991. It resulted in the LA Riots.
The underlying issue is that cops cannot impose consequences any more without risking riots, and the black population of major cities vote Democrat prosecutors into office who have no interest in jailing black criminals.
Nonsense. One doesn’t gave to be a cop to make rules of engagement. The role of the cop MUST be defined by others otherwise they are just the best equipped street gang.
Nicely done. But I disagree. It’s not the cop’s fault that criminals aren’t charged for causing devastating accidents. Once again, DA’s should be the ones to charge
criminals with murder if an innocent bystander is killed during a pursuit. Laws need to be changed? Cops are here to catch criminals.
Or convince the fleeing felon to stop stealing oxygen.
