Democrat drones vote Democrat, no matter what.
Yes. And Republicans vote Republican.
But this time it’s different. There is a good percent of the GOP who won’t vote for Trump again. They voted for him twice—but for whatever reason, they won’t do it again.
Now those voters are NOT ever going to vote for Biden. Most of them will just stay home.
That leaves the independents. I figure if they did not vote for Trump last time...they still won’t. And those who did vote for Trump will fall into the same split category as the GOP.
In the end, there are simply not enough voters who are even partially open to Trump to swing the general his way. And if Biden is taken out and replaced by someone who can string words into a coherent sentence? It won’t even be as close as I predict.
For the past two years I’ve been saying Trump is too old—only months younger than the Biden train wreck. Actuarial tables suggest a significant risk of death or debilitating disease will strike either of them in the coming five years.
On that basis alone, he isn’t getting my vote. And I have been saying that for years.
This election is going to be a bloody mess for the GOP. One way or the other, it will be a watershed moment from which the party—as its stood since 1980—will never recover.
