The Constitution has always been a threat to democracy because it set up a republic. The Constitution guarantees us inalienable rights even if all the other citizens vote to take them away.

Excellent points and on the mark. That is why I cringe whenever anyone says we have a democracy.

The Constitution is a threat to Deep State.

Ours is the only constitution ever written that protects the citizenry from its government.
