Apparently I am missing something.
What is supposed to be the purpose of sending the warning? To see if it gets to your phone? And if it didn’t, what are you supposed to do? Call FEMA and say hey I didn’t get the message?
I just don’t see any purpose here other than to remind people that we could all blow up anytime. They send out a warning that was real you would either get it or you wouldn’t.
I’m putting my cell phone into my car during that time. I’ll leave it for 30 minutes. I don’t care about the text itself but the noise will be louder than those annoying amber alerts. I don’t mind finding children obviously but when an amber alert goes to the whole state for a child In Jacksonville. I think it’s ridiculous.
Well Michael some of us know why the EAS is being tested and its only ominous if you’re a deep state cabal member. Otherwise you have nothing to fear.
As far as the nuclear alert test well, let Russia be Russia. They are not going to start a nuclear war. Mutually assured destruction is not something Putin wants to initiate.

They used to test the Air Raid siren every Friday at noon when I was a kid. They tested it to make sure it worked. We lived in the vicinity of a SAC base...so I guess they knew it would be a target.
Having worked in Emergency Management, they hold drills and tests all the time. I am not sure why people A) Don’t understand this and B) get their panties in a bunch because it happens.
I think they should be testing this stuff a lot more often.

I remember a similar test back in the early 1960s in which there was a broadcast test from “A secret base outside of Washington D.C.”
Sooo...if you are where there is NO Service during this test, what happens? We have a long planned day somewhere remote tomorrow.
Well on My TV around 02:17 almost every other day Spectrum does a TEST for the charlotte area and it includes a few Counties in SC as well. They always have to interrupt when I’m watching MAYDAY. Luckily I have found that I can Mute the test and then rewind the show through the DVR and hear what I missed because it doesn’t have the test in the show. Apparently it is done on “top” of the show broadcast.

I’m not taking any chances. I’m moving the old school desk I have in the basement up to the living room. That alarm goes off, I can duck and cover with the best of them.
Where I live we have a tornado siren test every day at 6:00 during the season. I lived on military bases I know what they are. My point is with this, that it’s really actually pointless. Suppose I didn’t get my notice? What does that mean, and of what use is it in that case? And remember the test that we experienced as kids like on television and all that sort of thing there wasn’t any mass media like we have today. Anything that happens is known everywhere within minutes. So I don’t see a test like this having much value.
As far as any nefarious intent on the part of the government and FEMA I don’t know how they could utilize this test to screw us. However if there is some way that I don’t know about they will find it.
