Ukrainian Presidential Advisor Mikhail Podolyak said that the reason for the failure of the counter-offensive was that the West had been supplying weapons to the Ukrainian Armed Forces for a long time.

Usually you are supposed to have what you need on hand for an offensive BEFORE you attack. If they didn’t they shouldn’t have attacked. Russia is lucky that NATO and its puppets are so incompetent. I pay absolutely zero attention to anything that comes out of that region simply because you can’t believe one side or the other, and you definitely cannot believe what the media tells you
As it is with some people on free republic who post on this repeatedly saying everything‘s coming up roses with the Ukrainian counteroffensive.
If it ended now, I see Russia as just taking what they already have and ending it. Unless people want US ground troops there this is over. And we are in no way prepared for such a thing.
