Is Biden trying to burn down the economic house? Under Bidenomics, America’s middle class and low wage workers are suffering from a wild, wild life in terms of inflation.
First, food prices are up 20% since December 2020. Talk about destruction of middle class wealth!
That is in addition to gasoline prices are up 64% under Biden while rent growth is up 252%. Well, Biden waived through millions of illegal immigrants and rent had to rise. Biden and Washington DC’s broken borders is Livin’ La Vida Loco.
To cope with inflation (that Paul Krugman claims is over but the last inflation report showed that the tinders of inflation are hard to extinguish), consumers have turned to credit cards to survive. In fact, credit cards have expanded 38% since April 2021 despite rapidly rising interest rates. And credit card delinquency rates are rising and are now above Covid-era economic shutdown levels.

If they are not trying I doubt they could do a better job if they tried.
This is all the result of a very careful plan on the part of those who seek to destroy America!
"Why, twenty-five could easily live in this house"
It’s a small price to pay for getting rid of the bad orange man, and 80 Million people voted for it !!
Food prices are up waaay more than 20%! Some items are up 100%. The instant tea I buy is up almost 40%. Milk is up 60%, A head of lettuce is now up to twice as much. My local grocery store considers milk at $4 a gallon to be a sale. Otherwise, its almost $6. Eggs, bacon, butter -— all ridiculously high. On a fixed income, it’s mighty hard.
Food prices only up 20%? What a lie!
The cost of food is easily up between 60% and 80%. Yet they say, "Well, inflation is down now. Isn't Biden great for bringing inflation down?" What they do not ever mention is that prices remain sky high, in addition to the ridiculous shrink inflation in the size of almost every single consumable item.
We split a steer with someone else and got about 350-400 lbs of beef for just under $1,000 including the cost of the butcher.
We just had a couple of tenderloins that practically melted in our mouths. It’s the only way to do it.
That’s pretty funny. I’ve said for about two decades that I feel like we’re living in Dr. Zhivago but without the love triangle.
Agree. I went to the store today for a week’s worth of groceries. There is only me and my wife. What we spend on food just us 2 used to feed 6. Briskets that used to cost $35 are now $75.
Sorta relevant:
My wife and I would often pick up a hometown Pizza near Bardstown. We’d always get a thin crust large “loaded”. It was always just under $20. Hand ‘em a twenty and you were good.
About a year after the pandemic started, they jacked up the price to around $23. They are now just under $26.
That is a 30% increase.
We rarely get them any more, which is better for our health anyway. 😎
Save one of your grocery receipts. Put it in a drawer. A year from now take it out and buy the exact same things on the receipt. Compare the totals. Yikes...
Briskets? You all are rich.
