They barely cover music anymore, they hired a new Editor-in-Chief a few years ago with zero music journalism experience, but a ton of political reporting for NeoCon outlets and organizations, like the Council on Foreign Relations.
You believe what you want to believe, but in general I don't consider anything in Rolling Stone as well sourced. You know it was less than a decade ago that they published one of the worst, poorest excuses for journalism ever, with "A Rape on Campus". They lost the resulting defamation lawsuit and paid UoV a cool $3 million, a fraternity another $1.65 million and an undisclosed amount to other individuals named in the story.
Alex Jones lost bigger, but he's never going to pay - so this might be one of the largest libel cases every collected in US History.
Just curious: Do you also think that the Newtown school shooting was acting?
