- US has hundreds of bases around the world. Actively fights/engages Islamists in a dozen African countries. Has bases in Syria and Northern Iraq. Has hundreds of advisors in Ukraine. Has warned about war with Iran. Has two carrier groups stationed off Israel - but at the same time, there’s NO WAY they would have boots on the ground in Israel! Really?

Whoever has to invade Gaza and fight in an urban and subterranean environment whether it be experienced Israeli, American or British special forces or young. enthusiastic, combat inexperienced Israeli reservists, they will have savage, hellish fights and are likely to take heavy casualties. Also they are not likely to be able to rescue or free by force many hostages alive.
