I’m not so sure about that. The sack by the Saracens was pretty thorough. I love articles like this but it sounds like Italy’s possession of any of the temple vessels is speculation by the legislator. I’d truly be surprised by any. The menorah of course would be the big get but I don’t subscribe to the speculation that the Vatican has it. It was supposedly solid gold— too valuable not to have been carried away when Rome was sacked, either by Alaric or by the Saracens

It was taken to Constantinople — we know that.

It is not mentioned after about 600 AD.

My guess is that it was melted down
