You may have noticed that the enemies of the West no longer need to hide their animosity or their purpose. In the wake of my 2015 book, The Devil's Pleasure Palace, I was often asked what, exactly, did the Frankfurt School and its spawn in academe and its fellow travelers in the media desire in the wake of the collapse of Western civilization? What would follow the triumph of "Critical Theory"? A new communist paradise? The teleological resolution of their imaginary "arc of history"? The sunny uplands of "fairness," "equality," and even "equity"? None of those things, I replied. What they want is... nothing.
To assume that our ideological opponents want something is to play the game on their turf. It's a mistake we make constantly. We imagine that words mean the same thing when they use them as when we use them. We have accepted their protestations that they "only" want a new, post-revolutionary Brotherhood of Man when they speak glowingly of the future, when instead they're happy to stop with the destruction of the past two thousand years of history, and call it a job well done. We mistakenly assume that they want the same world that we do, only different, when in fact nihilism is their goal. To put it in contemporary terms, they are Jokers, the kind of men who only want to watch the world burn.

Freud offered as good an explanation as any. The ultimate goal of the aggressive drive is self destruction. Civilization evolved to insure the subordination of aggression to the drive for attachment. The life instinct over the death instinct. When civilization breaks down, we see what has begun to happen.

I disagree. I take the WEFers, Soros, Gates et al. at their word when they say they want to eliminate all but about 500M of everyone and rule over the rest.
As they’ve put it, with humanity confined in small fiefdoms (oh, sorry, “15 minute cities”) and kept there by the simple unavailability of the tools and knowledge to live freely elsewhere, they can use minimal resources while producing enough for the new royalty to, well, live like kings. Thus “you’ll own nothing and be happy” and definitely not “we’ll all own nothing and be happy.”
I don’t think it’ll work out for them even if they achieve the destruction of the current order, but I’m certainly not about to describe why or how lest I be in some part right and I inadvertently help them. (I don’t think they’re as smart as they think they are; this isn’t some big ego deal on my part).
On the other hand, Milton’s adversary famously would rather rule in hell than serve in heaven, and these guys take after him. It might be enough for them to die knowing nobody will live better than they did — enough until that moment after when they realize there is an after and what’s coming next for them.
Either way they need to be stopped; even if they fail it’s already an enormous mess and I’m already envisioning this being titled the Second Dark Ages by historians puzzling over how, like ancient Rome, we could have it all and just fall apart. Preserve your physical records of knowledge.
