I interpreted it to mean “USA is uniting the west to destroy Russia, just as hitler and Napoleon tried to do (but not by uniting the west, just like they tried to do alone).

Anyway, I don’t buy it. Russia could be a fabulous country today if they would just mind their own business and invest properly in infrastructure, instead of blowing it all away on yachts and private armies. Nobody in “the west” gives a crap about Russia, but if they would just stop blaming outsiders for their many problems, and get on with solving the problems, we would perhaps admire them and want to do business wit them. Few people want to do business with people who demonstrate that they cannot be trusted to keep their word.

And yes, same applies to western countries.

The world has turned into a vast nuthouse and we are wasting all our resources on useless, pointless wars and military spending, when we need to be spending public money on roads, desalination, irrigation, and safer air traffic control, etc. I blame elites in all countries, and I suspect Biden, Clinton and Putin are not quite the enemies they like us to think they are. Both sides are serving powerful clients and interests making money off human misery.

I truly wish God would act to lock them up and face judgment, but it’s partly the fault of ordinary people who empower all these idiots. There are better alternatives but we learn nothing and keep doing the same stupid stuff over and over. It’s not so much left or right, as right or wrong. And our rulers are wrong, big time. That includes Putin and Lavrov. We may not have reached nuclear or military parity, but we have reached intellectual parity, we are as stupid as they are.

I think it’s more Russian Imperialism circa 1800s vs. cold war. Their starting point is reclaiming, by whatever means possible, the territories of the Soviet Union. After that wherever else they can profit from.

It’s The-Way-of-The-World prior to 1945. Nuclear bluster and blackmail to get away with stealing resources of other nations.
