Iran taunts the paper tiger

Why are we responding so timidly to Iranian-backed attacks on US bases?

As of this morning, there have been 48 attacks on US bases in the Middle East according to Fox News. On those attacks, tens of American servicemen have suffered traumatic brain injuries. Nineteen were reported in a Politico article while Fox News yesterday reported that the number now stood at 25.

In response the might US, led by a laughable old codger, has conducted two pathetic pinprick strikes.

MacCallum countered that many Americans believe the administration has not done enough to dissuade Iran from attacking U.S. installations and service members:

"You're a military man. What do you say to the members of our U.S. services? They are watching this incoming: You've got a couple of people who've suffered traumatic brain injuries and others who have been injured," she said.

"When you're telling them – don't fight back, Just sit there. You're telling them, you know, just sit tight at this moment and take it?"

Kirby began to reply that the U.S. has retaliated with strikes of its own, to which MacCallum interjected that many experts see such return-fire as strategically pointless.

"With all due respect John, I've talked to military experts who say that retaliation is completely inconsequential; that Iran needs to be hit in a way that means something to them; their command and control centers, which we know where they are," MacCallum said.

WHY?

After an American contractor was killed and several troops were injured in late December 2019, President Donald Trump ordered a drone strike on Qassem al-Soleimani, which took place on January 2, 2020. Soleimani was the commander of Iran's Revolutionary Guards Quds Force unit and supplied Iraqi insurgents with the IED's that led to the deaths and maiming of thousands of American troops.

Iran was quiet after that.

Because Iran is one of a half dozen countries that owns a piece of Biden. That’s what happens when you elect a compromised grifter as president.

Because those bases shouldn’t even be there.

Imagine if a criminal gang came into your neighborhood from a nearby city and set up a marijuana growing operation in your garage. That’s pretty much what has happened over there in Syria, where the U.S. is the criminal gang and Syria is the homeowner that has begged its neighbors for help in getting the gang out of the garage.

Just like NATO provoked Russia into war, the U.S. is provoking these countries to war and terrorism by not becoming a Muslim nation, and flaunting our infidel ways.

He is president, but he wasn't elected.

the best way to start a war

is to appease an aggressor

they will just continue to be more aggressive

until they have to be stopped

I hope one day soon that we attack their leaders in Iran.
Not just their military.

Goes back to 1979. Carter should have given Iran 24 hours to release the hostages and make restitution for the embassy or else.

Let Iran figure out what "or else" would entail.

And then follow through with it.
