That a Trump victory next November is a coin-toss probability is beginning to sink in.
Mr Trump dominates the Republican primary. Several polls have him ahead of President Joe Biden in swing states. In one, for the New York Times, 59% of voters trusted him on the economy, compared with just 37% for Mr Biden. In the primaries, at least, civil lawsuits and criminal prosecutions have only strengthened Mr Trump. For decades Democrats have relied on support among black and Hispanic voters, but a meaningful number are abandoning the party. In the next 12 months a stumble by either candidate could determine the race—and thus upend the world.

How is winning an election a threat to “democracy”?
Except that they are encouraging the weak-minded to believe his assassination would “save the world.” This is nothing more than a coded message calling for murder. But they are not alone.
Dems should be afraid. Be very afraid. But, we all know they are putting stuff out like this knowing full well that no matter what it takes, and I mean NO MATTER WHAT, he won’t be in office. Even if they have to make up ballots or something.

In the early 1990’s just after Bill Clinton was elected, I read an article in The Economist that was an example of journalistic fellatio that would have made the then unknown Monica Lewinsky blush, and realized then that The Economist was just a joke and a leftwing socialist rag simply posing as a serious periodical.

The Republicans already revolted in 2016 with Trump.
The Sanders wing of the democrat party tried their revolt and failed in 2016 & did worse in 2020.
Hopefully some democrat peasants become frustrated and vote for Trump, RFK, Stein, or West.
