Sounds like then hospital is a major tunnel hub.
And for that reason, yes, it does need to be destroyed.
Go as far into the tunnels from the hospital as can be safely done to destroy them, and then obliterate the hospital armory.

Actually, no need to go to the trouble of destroying the building and giving Hamas a PR victory. The IDF is going to blow the tunnels and the building will collapse into the crater left by the underground excavations which will make the IDFs point about the complex beneath the hospital.
