Derek Chauvin, who was convicted of murder in the death of George Floyd in a highly contested decision, was knifed on Friday and almost died. The prison officials didn’t even bother to call his mother, Carolyn Pawlenty. Alpha News reported that she found out through media reports.
“How the hell do these news agencies know, and his own mother doesn’t even know? And that [prison] has an emergency contact number [for me],” Pawlenty said, adding that she is “worried and scared” about her son’s condition.
“I can’t even think what to say. I haven’t been to bed and made a path in my kitchen and living room floor by pacing,” Pawlenty said.
Chauvin’s attorney, Bill Mohrman, said he tried to contact the prison. “We have attempted to contact the Bureau of Prisons regarding the media reports regarding Mr. Chauvin and we have not heard back,” Mohrman told the outlet.
Gregory M. Erickson, another of Chauvin’s attorneys, slammed the Arizona prison for lack of transparency. “It appears to be indicative of a poorly run facility and indicates how Derek’s assault was allowed to happen,” Erickson said in a statement on Saturday.
“How the family members who are in charge of Derek’s decisions regarding his personal medical care and his emergency contact were not informed after his stabbing further indicates the institution’s poor procedures and lack of institutional control,” he added.
Chauvin was attacked shortly after 12:30 p.m. Friday by another prisoner. He is reportedly in stable condition.
Attorney’s had requested he not be put in general population, but the prison refused, knowing the danger he would be in.
There is another version of what happened.
The truth about this miscarriage of justice coming out. The only way to stop it is by removing the aggrieved party. If he doesn’t die of this, they will try again.

I can’t understand why a lawyer hasn’t got him out yet. He clearly didn’t kill that guy.
The cop is in prison getting knifed, and the counterfeiter with an extensive violent felony record that was on drugs and resisting arrest is having schools named after him and memorials built in his honor.

And sadly, the ones who perpetrated all this for political/social unrest will never face justice. In this life at least.
This is far from over, the way I see it, they have no choice but to kill him in jail. It is the only way to stop the appeals and making public all the fraud that took place in his inquisition. Saint George died from a Fentanyl overdose while resisting arrest.
Where are the Democrats of old? That video would be snuffed by todays Dems if they could...............

It appears to be vindictiveness on the part of the prison!
I wonder if any of the jurors who gave him a guilty verdict have any ‘buyers remorse’.
It’s Deep State going with the “who will rid me of this meddlesome priest” approach to how do you solve a problem like Chauvin.
There is a special spot in hell for people who knowingly falsely convict people like chauvin, and then try to cover up by moving him to general hoping he will be killed (who knows, maybe the stabber was ordered to do so?)
What happened to Chauvin was a massive injustice- the jurors were intimidated into convicting him. Ignoring all evidence which proved his innocence. Again, hell has a devil set aside for those who knowingly sent an innocent man to his possible death at worst, but false incarceration at least.
The feckless jurors who knew to do right but ignored their duty and falsely convicted him we’re likely celebrating.
System treats him as if he was dead, as they wish he was.

Just like the Uniparty targeted people protesting a stolen election on Jan 6 in order to make examples of them to anyone else who might think of joining a protest to show support for MAGA causes.
Just like the Uniparty targeted doctors who raised concerns about the safety of the covid vaxx in 2021.
The same is true of any lawyers who are representing republicans trying to expose the election fraud that took place in 2020 and 2022. Michigan is actively trying to debar lawyers who go against the narrative. Sydney Powell has been targeted in GA.
The same thing will happen to any lawyer who will take on Chauvin's case. Unless they have deep pockets, they don't want to destroy their career.
Derek Chauvin is now a NonPerson. As a nonperson, there is no reason to tell his family that one of Obama’s boys tried to kill him.
My guess is, they will be successful next time.
