The Biden administration and the intelligence services will soon have massive amounts of American blood on their hands due to terrorism, but, also, so do elected Republican political leaders because they are not daily sounding the alarm of the peril the nation faces through the border.
Adding money to some bill to stop the emergency at the border? Such stupididy plays right into the hands of the democrats. What Biden is doing is illegal and highly unconstitutional already; enforcing the law does not require a supplemental bill attached to another bill.
So if the Republicans refuse to pass a bill, the democrats will claim the border crisis belongs to the Republicans.

RD is mostly persona non grata here, but he posted Tthe affidavit. I am not saying that everything that the FBI says is true.
Jeremiah Ruffini, the boy’s father, has been convicted of kidnapping, robbery, and burglary. Perhaps he is many years reformed but he is not supposed to live in a house with firearms. The FBI claims he does albeit not his own guns.
The boy did not say merely hateful things, but spoke of committing violence.
The part about him dropping a note saying, “It’s okay to be white,” is laughable, BS. It does not point to criminal intent, let alone constitute a crime.
Yesterday I posted about the FBI arresting a young woman in Puerto Rico making death threats against the people of Uvalde Texas. She also did this before the school shooting happened while she lived there, and Texas, not the feds, prosecuted her.
So sometimes young people really do make threats. Find your own copy of the affidavit if you don’t like my link..
We rightly criticize the FBI for blowing reports about the Parkland shooter. And we know they have set up disaffected, disturbed young people.
I’m waiting for more facts. Right now it’s he said, they said, they having the vast resources of the federal government.

Sooner or later these commando raids are themselves going to provoke a violent response. People aren’t going to live in fear of these battle rattle idiots jumping ugly at the slightest pretext. And man, in this case the pretext was slight indeed.
The process is the punishment.
That way, they can punish the innocent as easily as the guilty.

Believing Catholics are officially designated as terrorists by Homeland Security. They are dangerous to the approved thought processes.
Warrantless surveillance of US citizens must stop - and what it is going to take to stop it is unclear. I don’t think a court order or orders is going to do the trick.
It’s fairly obvious by now that there are forces within the government who believe that the expression of certain political opinions by US citizens on US territory is effectively illegal, and thiose forces are ready and able to act to suppress those opinions, by any means necessary.
Any Executive order given by Trump, should he be elected, will be ignored. There is nothing about the history of 2017-2021 to suggest that Trump knows how to handle open defiance of his legal exercise of the office, and there is a lot to suggest that a very large percentage of Executive Branch officials had no intention, and will have no intention, of obeying him in the past or in the future.
Repeal of the Patriot Act would be an important first step.
