SC District Court Judge Clifton Newman, of Elic Murdaugh trials fame, is retiring before the end of this year. He announced his retirement during Elic's embezzling/insurance fraud/money laundering sentencing hearing.

Elic is still in and out of courtrooms I see. Recently for the theft of funds from clients etc. Diabolical man.
