I don’t think I’ve ever had the energy needed to own a Belgian Malinois. Those dogs seem to live life at 100mph and expect their owners to do the same.
My doctor has one; he brings it to work every day, and it sits in his office behind a baby gate. I’m sure he takes it out for a bathroom break. He never barks or causes a problem.
I have 2 Belgian Malinois. They need a job, and to stay busy both mentally and physically. One of mine is a narcotics detection dog. He does a victory lap with a tennis ball in his mouth when he finds drugs. The other one is learning tracking.
