At today’s House Administration Committee hearing, Rep. Greg Murphy (R-NC) questioned Lonnie Bunch, secretary of the Smithsonian Institution.
Reviewers: That is really sad… I’m white and was raised to love my fellow Americans… no matter what color. My late father who served in the US NAVY and is buried at the National Veterans Cemetery would be disgusted with what has happened to our country
It’s one thing to take A document down that you think might be problematic for your organization. It’s another thing to have people working there who thought it was OK to put that up. Look how much time they spent on that document.
Google who sits on the board of directors at the Smithsonian institute. And you will understand why our history is withheld. Maybe the members of Congress should Google the same question

Wonderful, so now the woketards have taken over the Smithsonian. Is there anything left untouched today by these assholes?
The whiteness is overwhelming!
Why is it that the white, 9% of the global population are responsible for 100% of all inventions???
What was it in their common Christian heritage that made it possible???
And, as many have said, Wokeness is just one of the many faces of Marxism.
When a people, in this case straight white people, are guilty of hatred, racism, homophobia, and oppression for simply being who they are, this is the serpent's spirit of envy. Behind the mantra--equity, inclusion, and diversity--is envy.
In Orthodox Christian Russia after the envy bitten Bolsheviks seized power, the envied, thus guilty of evil, were Christians, priests, parents, property owners, certain high ranking military officers and other leaders.
Can you smel the genocide? They have plans and they are letting us k is what they are.

I don’t yet grasp the origin of that poster, but it’s unrelated to the OP (it’s from 2020).
The person who posted it below has a telling take on it. FWIW

When are they going to change the name of the Smithsonian? It’s named after a white man, after all.
