If they are actually Parkland residents, you can’t claim they are “poor”.
I used to work in Parkland, and was once pulled over for driving a ratty old car. I was given a ticket for “cutting through” Parkland on the way to somewhere else.
I appealed the ticket and claimed I was stopped for:
“DRIVING WHILE POOR”.
I won.
This was where the school resource deptury is now claiming he didn’t have “an obligation” to stop the mass shooter there a few years ago.

1. you believe your life is in danger
2. apply only enough force to stop the ‘attacker’
3. Call for help, apply aid.

I seem to remember that after the Margery Stoneman Douglas mass shooting some years ago, _resident Obama’s “restorative justice” complaints about a “school to prison pipeline” was often mentioned as contributing to the problems of school shootings because federal guidelines made schools take it easy on offenders. Tough measures on offenders were attributed to skin color prejudice by administrators, and not to the severity of offenses by the perpetrators.
