The Soviet Union fell because Ronald Reagan and others pushed. He truthfully called it “the evil empire.” Perhaps those words were the “Black Swan.” Who expected an American President to have moral clarity and to tell the truth? Our press was shocked. Ted Kennedy openly met with the Soviet ambassador to stop Reagan.
Members of the Soviet military said that that 72 hours after the balloon went up, Soviet Tanks would occupy Paris. The Army introduced a slew of new weapon systems in response and the Air Force introduced the A-10. Tactical nuclear missiles, cruise missiles helped round out the response. There were significant weapon system advances in the Air Force and Navy, and there was Star Wars. We allowed Soviet spies to steal US technology that was intentionally defective.

Just One? I foresee three or four. I know what a white swan is—a Russian Bomber—But I have never heard of a “Black Swan” A B-1 painted to resemble a Russian jet nuking Mira Lago? That would get rid of Trump, start WW III and re-elect Biden. Such a thing could save Ukraine and Israel as well.
An unexpected event? Well....of course we could see the Election 2024 variant of the Wuhan Flu. Or we could hear an announcement that Social Security will be broke by 2025.Or a massive explosion and fire in Jerusalem has killed 100,000 and completely destroyed the city.

Other than Bill Clinton Sarah Palin had the finest political instincts of any public figure. Her effort during ‘08 where she knew that Mi. Pa. Wi. were up for grabs was prescient. She also had several meetings with Donald Trump before he came down the escalator, so she doubtless shared her instinctual understandings with him.
They don’t even mention that China has purchased a good chunk of the American political establishment.
What about China, maybe even Israel, or some loose cannon in the U.S.
I’m less worried about what Russia, China, Iran, and NK might do that what domestic governmental agencies have planned for us.
The CIA Black Book of Predictions kinda foresaw this.

The interesting analog in the long chain of traditions (regardless of who believes what) is that at the very top of the cross is "INRI"

Deneb represents the magpie bridge in the story of the reunion of the weaver girl (Vega) and the cowherd (Altair).

Right on topic. I love the wording here, because of all the opinions for why Jacob 'didn't reveal' the ketz.

I interpret a “Black Swan Event” to mean when Michelle Obama drops into the 2024 Democrat Convention and is drafted to be the nominee.
My thoughts too.
