My kids might love it as they wouldn’t have to compete with the “adults” for low skill retail jobs. Could they negotiate and accept a lower rate with some perks probably? $17/hr? Part time? They don’t have to have that kind of money. The demand for them would be nuts. Employment agencies for teenagers could become a great opportunity.

This is a catch 22 for a liberal policy. Libs say the minimum wage must be a living wage for an ‘adult”, but by doing that they keep the adults in the minimum wage jobs and leave no jobs for the next generation of ‘adults’
