Republicans like Texas Gov. Greg Abbott have effectively led sanctuary cities to regret their policies as southern border migrants flood their cities to the "breaking point."
"New York City has begun to see another surge of migrants arriving, and we expect this to intensify over the coming days as a result of Texas Gov. Abbott's cruel and inhumane politics," New York City Mayor Eric Adams said this week.
"For many months, we were able to keep the visualization of this crisis from hitting our streets, but we have reached a breaking point and can no longer do that."

I used to live with the world’s largest mine field protecting us. There was heavy artillery aimed at the single road coming through the mine field.
That was US territory.

We can’t kill them but we could make their lives so miserable here that they’d want to go back.
That’s too bad & certainly not a good thing, but somebody from the named cities decided to become sanctuary cities. Sad that it turned out to be such a problem, but I think most anybody capable of thinking could realize that it would likely work out this way.
If you plant land mines and put up signs, people will stay away.
Trouble is they’re in here now like ticks on a hound. We’ll never get them out.
This nation can’t survive another year of this and what this carrot in The White House has done to it.
And they’re taking the rest of us on their train to Hell.
Primarily because of Economical Mismanagement and DEBT, by Socialist and Neocon Policy (pro Ukraine), the fall of the Dollar as the Reserve Currency caused by Socialist and Neocon misuse (pro Ukraine), and the loss of Trust of Government Legal and Law Enforcement Systems and Rule Of Law by Legacy and Ordinary American Citizens (Anti American).
