Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong spoke candidly with his personal mental health issues and revealed he suffered a form of “mid-life crisis” at the tender age of 20. Armstrong explained to Kerrang!, “I didn’t think I was gonna live that long. It’s something that’s always been in my head. Whether it’s people dealing with PTSD or, like, everybody’s got a part of their brain that is neurotic, or maybe even paranoid, or bi-polar, or they have a personality disorder.”

Wouldn’t know much about Green day ABC New Year’s Eve, I watched the CBS Nashville New Year’s Eve show, it was good.

I can’t decide which is more insipidly conventional - being one of the acts on Dick Clark’s Rockin’ New Year’s Eve or updating your song lyrics to take a shot at MAGA. In any event, the two minutes I just spent on this is the most time I’ve spent thinking about Green Day in 20 years.
Fag bands that have to attack patriotic Americans while on stage obviously don’t have much of a following. I listen to a lot of music but I can’t name one song I’ve ever heard by this box of cucumbers.

Horrible lead singer. Hard to buy their punk act early on, and impossible now. They’re not counter culture or going against the grain - they’re in lockstep with the current government and all the current social justice, social consciousness BS out there. They’re hardly cutting edge.
Bet most of the band now have kids, mortgages, and worry about their 401K and the violence in our country. They probably cheer on the D running for office, and pull the R level in the secrecy of the voting booth.
Whatever they do, fire the lead singer. Sounds like he’s a got testicle waiting to drop and an IQ of 7.
