I agree with the underlying sentiment of this saying that I’ve seen so often.
However, there is nothing “soft” about it.
The insidiousness and the pernicious nature of this type of racism is what makes it so very damaging. There is nothing “soft” about its effect. This is why Satan loves it. It masks the intent of the Liar, cloaking it in a thin veneer of “compassion”, making it all the more deadly.
