To: struggle

So here’s the crux of the matter, which we also face here: who has the right to decide?

In our nominal Constitution, there were checks and balances; only the Congress was to pass laws; the judiciary didn’t make laws but determined if they were Constitutional (and not whether they thought they were fair or nice or the direction they wanted the country to go) and the executive spent the money in the budget according to the laws.

That’s gone, dusted, history. At a minimum, and there are many other examples, Congress hasn’t passed a budget since 2008. You can pick your own favorite example and time and also probably be correct.

So now it’s up for grabs, and the left isn’t shy about saying they have the final say from whatever institution they hold. Similarly here. If the socialist judge gets to say “no” that’s that. Everything Millei does from here on out will be deemed illegal.

Of course the flip side to stopping them is that the next socialist that gets in will try exactly the same thing but in reverse, which is why the only viable solution with human beings is mutual impedance and limited government.

Everything will return to that eventually, but the further off the more painful and bloody the consequences for everyone.

The courts have no miltary or law enforcement ability. Tell them to pound sand.
