This is definitely worth watching. Bret is an interesting guy who sometimes gets too stuck in academic navel gazing but he was on point with this.

I am still a bit disappointed that he continues to refuse to connect the dots about Covid and the 2020 election/Trump. Say what you want, but I am 100% confident that powerful people in media, govt, and bureaucracies and even China itself saw the opportunity in Covid to get rid of Trump.

Without “Covid” restrictions to election rules and norms (like campaigning) the world would look much different right now than it does. “Never let a crisis go to waste” is a battleplan and you have to give them credit for using it.

I am still dumbfounded about it all, but in hindsight it has become much easier to see it clearly for what it was - power, greed, and Machiavellian games.

Bret may admit this in 2 more years at the rate he is going - it’s kind of sad. He connects the dots about process and science but fails to see the big picture.

This fellow is FAR FAR FAR from being fringe or a nut or alarmist. He appears Sober, Serious, Concerned and even Afraid.

Unlike some who interview, Tucker knows how to ask questions and keep his mouth shut when the person he is interviewing has much more to say and knows much more than he does.

Pharma is a solution looking for a problem to solve. If they can't find one they will create one. The one I use as the poster child for their racket and tactics is the "24" type campaign where they start by adverts telling about some terrible problem and then eventually promote the drug they have invented that applies. The more wide spread the better.

High blood pressure, cholesterol, type II diabetes all made to order wide spread maladies in search of a cure. To be sure some are serious but some are made to be serious. For example, clinical norms for HBP have steadily ratcheted downward to encompass a greater and greater part of the population over the years. Ditto with cholesterol.

The even manipulate their own mainstay drugs to kill them off when their patents and profitability have died. The current campaign against Metformin is one such example. It came out as Glucophage way back when I worked at the Walmart Pharmacy as a kid in high screwl. It was a wonderful miracle drug and now it is life threatening according to some "studies". Studies paid for by whom? You get one guess.

My doc cringes and then laughs when I tell him that most systemically sick people will die from that soon if not eventually, most injured and infected people can be helped by medicine and a lot of our chronic systemic disease is self-inflicted.

I don't trust big anything. Big anything becomes tyrannical and obsessed with power.

Rear view mirrors are improved crystal balls and much easier to view.

People like Bret don't like to venture too far into arguing about politics. Too squishy? That does not stop the speculation about intrigue or make it less possible or probable. I still believe very much that the election was stolen as I think the next one will be as well.

Baloney.

He and his wife both resigned their tenured professorships to protest the Woke politics of Evergreen State College.

That's actually quite a venture into politics.

What vote of principals? What the hell are you talking about?

BTW, I am a huge fan of the Weinstein boys (Bret and Eric).

I agree and I often enjoy Bret although I admittedly fast forward through the academic musings he and Heather get trapped in and that’s okay, they are both academics.

It even happened at the state and local levels. Career health bureaucrats who had rarely been mentioned within their own community and government all of a sudden became the most important people and many of them recognized that the more scared their communities were the more important they were. They too killed people by not promoting things that were obvious like vitamin D because they blindly pushed the game.

Congress, both parties, saw another crisis for which they could shower borrowed money on their donors and pet causes.

I do find myself disappointed that some brave individuals who know what they are talking about (like him) are failing to fully connect the dots.

“Covid” served many evil masters and you cannot simply view it from one angle - it was multifaceted and its important that all of us (me too) gain some hindsight about these things:

The media latched onto it like everything else to damage Trump. The more they whipped up a frenzy the more scared we became and there was little skepticism (key to good journalism) to be found anywhere.

The bureaucracy and DC in general tried to use everything possible to chew up Trump and spit him out and Covid proved to be a great vehicle.

Big pharma captured our health bureaucracy and corporate medicine FAR beyond anything we thought and that was proven. They made tens of billions off vaccines and other drugs. Name one thing Fauci did or did not do that was different than what Pfizer or Moderna would want. Just one.

Pharma even held up deployment of the vaccine for a few weeks to further hurt Trump who got played like a fool even as he waived the usual process for them.

The DoD hated Trump. They played their part to deploy (and delay) the vaccine (they purchased and funded) and Trump really thought he was in charge even as they lied to him about having troops in Syria despite his order otherwise. DoD brass to include his own appointees wanted him gone.

China lied, denied, and then played games because they saw that Covid would harm Trump who was coasting to reelection prior to the “pandemic”. China knew they would be hurt by Covid and they wanted to make sure we were hurt as well but most of all they wanted Trump gone.

The democrats used Covid to circumvent election laws in key precincts and it worked.

Social media did their part to attack and eventually censor Trump - anything he said was used to hurt him or simply ignored. Nobody was more draconian about Covid than social media. Nobody.

Our oligarchs poured money into mail-in ballots and other schemes designed to change the election because of the “emergency”. Zuckerberg, who was roundly criticized by Obama for allowing Trump and his supporters a platform, poured over 100 million into “drop boxes” in designated areas used for ballot stuffing and he funded ballot harvesting operations as did Soros and others.

Biden was allowed to stay in the basement and everyone else did the work.

The courts did their part to harm Trump based on Covid and they allowed governors to restrict the constitutional rights of citizens.

This stuff is not hard to see and it goes far beyond the accurate assessments of Bret about “Pharma” but there is SO MUCH MORE to peel back from the onion and it was ALL part of what happened.

Respectfully, if people refuse to see the whole picture of corruption we are doomed to repeat the mistakes because there will certainly be another “crisis” heading into November. It’s quite predictable as you correctly stated but too few see how/why they were able to change the election.

For the record, Bret and Heather stepped down because of academic politics over free speech and inquiry. I don’t think they viewed it from a political perspective and am quite sure they still support most ideas of the “left”.

It is an interesting trend in academia, and important, but it does not make them “conservative” or “MAGA”. Neither of them are very fond of Trump or his policies and I listen to them a few times a week via podcasts while driving.

As you know, what's happening on university campuses is still political. In fact, that's where the Marxist indoctrination of voters began.

I agree that Bret and Eric are not conservative. I would think though that they are classical liberals (pro-free speech, pro-free markets, pro-individual freedom, pro-academic freedom, etc.) as opposed to Marxists who have taken over the term "liberal" and redefined it.

People in the West have less and less concern for their souls and more and more concern for their bodies.

In the past people went to the stake because they were a danger to other peoples' souls.

Now we will go to the stake if WHO or the WEF believes we are a danger to other peoples' bodies.
