Considering that many countries produce their own weapons, Germany, France, Sweden, Switzerland, Netherlands, Norway, India, and who can forget Korea and Japan. The idea that this is a plan to lock in gains for American companies seems unlikely. Personally it looks quite the opposite and American industry is losing market share

Putin was already on the target list by virtue of NATO expansion eastwards to Russia’s borders initiated by Clinton in 1997.
Obama (Hillary Sec of State) in 2011 did Libya and Syria coups Libya succeeded and Syria failed.
Both Libya and Syria Russian affiliated states Putin put Russian forces into Syria to stop Obama-Hillary-McCain regime change there.
Then came the coup in Ukraine in 2014 kicking out the Pro-Russian gov’t and the course was set for the war in 2022.
