Does anyone look at a calendar? In the northern hemisphere winter officially beings at the solstice. But the “lag” in the arrival of the cold is typically 3-4 weeks AFTER the solstice and winter lasts 6-8 weeks from it’s arrival.
But when you have 80 IQ voters this is the sort of thing you get.
