There is no specific definition of natural born citizen anywhere in our laws. That statement is in the Constitution but there are endless arguments here on Free Republic about what that means.
There is no Free Republic consensus on what natural born citizenship means.
We do know, that there is no controlling legal Authority on this subject , because numerous people have run for president, and some have been elected president and vice president, even though some on Free Republic say they are not natural born citizens.
There seems to be no way to prevent someone from running for
president , who some say are not natural born citizens.
Maybe this was Carroll's original intent: Get the President to say something bad about her, then force him to pay her $83 million.
