There was an active shooter in Edmonton's City Hall this week, and you probably haven't heard about it.
And gee, I wonder why...
Maybe it's because this shooter wasn't "MAGA" enough. Maybe it's because this was a terror attack carried out by a Muslim.
AND PERHAPS, it's because he clearly cites the "genocide in Gaza," inflation, and the "man-made immigration crisis" as the reason for his attack.

Security footage shows the "alleged" terror suspect Bezhani Sarvar, 28, in a Commissionaires Security jacket, carrying a long gun and seemingly firing it inside the building.
Authorities report that he was heavily armed.
At approximately 10:18 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2024, a male parked his vehicle in the City Hall underground parkade, then entered the building from the parkade access. Once inside City Hall, he lit several handheld incendiary devices, believed to be Molotov cocktails, that caused one small fire outside an elevator. He then fired several rounds from a long gun into the ceiling, walls and windows.
Thankfully, no one was shot and a brave security guard on duty took action. The male then dropped the firearm on the floor and surrendered to a City Hall security Commissionaire, who detained him until police arrived moments later. EPS and RCMP Tactical teams then worked for several hours to secure and clear the building of any further threats, escorting out citizens who had been sheltering in place in various locations throughout City Hall.
Later, his video manifestos were discovered.
Sarvar suggested people fight against "this corruption, into this genocide that's going on in Gaza and throughout the world" and "[If God wills it], we will rise against you guys, and we'll put you on trial."

Savar mentioned fighting the "wokeism disease" and problems with godlessness and multiculturalism. If he were a white conservative Christian, imagine the headlines. But since he's Muslim, nothing. Interesting!

Sarvar himself was a Canadian Corps of Commissionaires security guard since 2019, but not at City Hall. It is believed that he came to Canada from Afghanistan in 2012.
He was in court this week and is facing six charges of reckless discharge of a firearm into place, use/place/throw explosive substance, arson to property, possessing incendiary material, use of a firearm while committing the offense, and careless use of a firearm. His next court appearance is scheduled for February 2.
Not a word from Canada's Prime Minister (who I thought banned those big scary guns anyway.) Justin Trudeau was too busy this week swooning over a women's professional hockey game in Ottawa.

I’m sure the RCMP followed all the proper procedures and filled out all the proper paperwork.
