Biden's border is a disaster and that the month of December saw the highest number of illegal immigrants ever showing up at our southwest border -- a staggering 302,034 of them. That figure doesn't even include all those who got away.
You would also know that the president has been trying to neuter Texas' right to defend itself from the onslaught and that he's suddenly changed his tune about the seriousness of the situation after three years of making it easier for illegals to cross into the country. It's an election year, after all, and people are actually paying attention.
X owner Elon Musk isn't buying all Biden's posturing and gaslighting, though, posting Saturday that more laws aren't the answer. "No laws need to be passed," he tweeted. "All that is needed is an executive order to require proof before granting an asylum hearing. That is how it used to be."
Problem solved.
Musk was responding to a typically pugnacious missive from Biden issued Friday where he demanded Congress pass a bill giving him more money for the problem and the ability to close the border when he feels like it:

When Silicon Valley entrepreneur David Sacks commented that there are plenty of laws -- there's just no enforcement by Biden, Homeland Security head Alejandro Mayorkas et al. -- Musk was in agreement:

Musk also agreed with Sacks that Biden's policies have created what is unquestionably an open border:

Interestingly, Musk no longer seems to be a supporter of a wall:
"Building a wall is a red herring," Musk wrote in another post on X Friday.
"No wall is needed to fix this situation. Border Patrol is being instructed to facilitate illegal entry at scale into the United States."
"The fundamental problem is that anyone can claim asylum with zero proof, which means all of Earth can come to America."
Musk visited the southern border in Eagle Pass, Texas, in September and livestreamed what he saw, giving people a firsthand account of the migrant crisis.
While I agree with most of Musk's common sense, no BS comments on the border, I don't see how a wall or some sort of physical barrier wouldn't help. If you make a task harder, fewer people will attempt it.
Still, it's interesting that two wealthy guys on Twitter make a lot more sense than the man who's supposed to be in charge, Joe Biden. The reality, however, is that Biden has no desire to stem the flow of the border, and if he could, he'd probably open up the floodgates even wider.
Polls are showing that it's a top issue for voters. Hopefully, in November they'll prove it with their vote to end this disastrous presidency.

Hell, Biden put out the “Ya’ll Come” welcome mat. We just need to pull in the welcome mat, spread the word globally “No freebies if you come,” forcibly repel boarders, put a stop to Catholic Charities helping people in Mexico and Central America, stop the Soros et al funding, and loudly and repeatedly say “The USA is open to those seeking to emigrate here legally.” Maybe even persuade some of those horrible 500 “sanctuary” entities to undo that now that they’ve seen what it really means to be “sanctuary.”
It would end very quickly.
Biden claims to want new laws to help him enforce the border, but without the will to do it no number of laws will help and with the will the current laws are sufficient.
"Biden" doesn't do anything. It's his Obama-directed handlers and a bunch of Ivy League twenty- and thirty-somethings fomenting this disaster.

The Hussein/Biden Regime has already made SpaceX’s progress with Starship and Superheavy slow to a crawl. This will just make it worse.
I believe everyone except for the Chicoms and Russians are using the ultra reliable SpaceX Falcon 9 and Falcon Heavy. Everything is so reusable the costs have plummeted. The European Space Agency (ESA) has hired SpaceX. Amazon has hired SpaceX (Bezos began his rocket company the same month as SpaceX. Bezos’ ‘big’ accomplishment is putting Captain Kirk into space (no orbit, just up and down). SpaceX is launching competitor’s hardware because capitalism in space is the future.
Right now, Falcon 9 and Falcon Heavy are more reliable than Boeing.
When Starship and SuperHeavy become as reliable as Falcon 9, the sky is the limit on humans moving out into the Solar System, and beyond.
I don't think Biden even likes them that much.
To me, Senile Joe is an old school Democrat. If he was younger, he would be more like Bill Clinton. Probably not as smart. He was never that sharp. But back then, at least he had a brain.
The point is that I don't think he would be this radical.
I guess Joe's handlers are content with him losing the election because it means Gavin will become President in 2028. And there will be millions of new voters thanks to anchor babies.

The WALL only helps to give the Border Patrol the ability to at least screen who is coming in, as it forces people through the checkpoints. Therefore, ideally, people who are known to be threats to the country can be rejected or arrested by Border Patrol, including drug mules, if caught.
But the wall doesn’t do anything about the POLICY of literally letting the other 99% of migrants into the country, as that is what’s going on at the checkpoints, at this point.
I suspect Abbott will work on that, once he’s able to first make it clear that people will not get away with bypassing the checkpoints.

there's a HUGE difference between non-enforcement and actively participating in breaking the law by busing and flying illegals over the border then, without any checks, drive and/or fly them deeper into the country.
