Life can be so tough at times. My wife and I just got great news about her continuing fight against Stage Four Uterine Cancer but we didn't get to enjoy the great news for very long. Just one minute later we got this update on Allie. Please keep praying for Allie and her family.

However, I'd like to point out that "This all started with the Flu which attacked Allie's heart" doesn't make sense. Influenza is an infection of the nose, throat and lungs, which are part of the respiratory system. It does not attack the heart per se.

There are other things that do. But I'll leave it at that. Praying she recovers and is well soon.

I have a Cancer situation and I go to HUP for treatment. My window always faces CHOP and I can see into the rooms of the precious children on certain days. I pray for them and Allie and shed tears.I do know children are very resilient and can overcome so much. Why does this happen to the innocent? I can’t answer that.
