I had to look her up. She's the daughter of author Erica Jong (Fear of Flying). She apparently suffered from alcoholism at some point, and wrote a book about her experience with AA. Her husband is a CUNY Professor. Don't know if they make enough to pay for a Star-Studded party in New York City. Perhaps she inherited money from her mother. Her parents divorced when she was young.

In September 2018, Christine Blasey Ford alleged that then-U.S. Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her in Bethesda, Maryland, when they were teenagers in the summer of 1982. E. Jean Carroll first accused Donald Trump of sexual assault in 2019. I bet Carroll, with her degree in English literature from Indiana University, and lengthy writing career, was inspired by Ford’s failed accusation to write a good rape story about Trump that would be believed.
