We are. But not because of anything happening in Europe or the Mideast.
We are being invaded by migrants who hate this country and only want the freebies. Our debt is unsustainable. Our economy is fragile. Our manufacturing base is gone. Our supply lines are fragile. Our culture is rotted and self-destructive. Government is seizing children if their parents don't consent to sex mutilation.
I could go on.
But yes, let's ignore our domestic problems, and incur further debt and maimed troops for another glorious war!
For the isolationist example to be relevant here, China would need to bomb Pearl harbor and Putin would have to occupy Germany, invade France, Belgium, Denmark and Norway, and start bombing Britain.
So I will agree with the premise if I see those things occur.
