In a nutshell White people have been singled out for racial abuse for decades.
The recruitment numbers for Blacks and Hispanics is flat but the number of Whites has plummeted.

The growing sentiment is for fighting against these globalist governments than for them.
I think given the predominant woke mentality, it would be dangerous for Christians and conservatives to enter the military. Not only would they be scapegoats for anything that goes wrong, they would run a greater risk of being investigated and charged for some bogus leftist rule violation.

We were relieved when the two youngest in our family (both males) rejected military service. Both took the ASVAB and scored super high, exactly what the military is looking for. One had to change his phone number because the recruiters wouldn't stop calling him.
Why should they "fight for" a government that discriminates against them and calls them "terrorists" and "supremacists" - even though they aren't.
