Well, clearly Jesus’s hearers would not have understood the concepts had He mentioned them. Placing limits on what may be in the mind of God is a bit beyond my feeble abilities.
This is a Good Read...
Thanks!
IMO, Charity should never be pawned off onto any organization when it can be done locally.
I realize groups like Samaritan’s purse, which has the resources to go places I can’t, are good, but if someone is substituting making a donation instead of actually participating and getting involved on a personal level, investing time and effort as well as resources, then IMO, that doesn’t really count for much.
Also, supporting an organization that is enabling illegal activity is an no go, too.
Temporarily helping the poor who fell on hard times and just need a hand is a far cry from encouraging law breaking and enabling it.
‘Nor do I think groups should be helping moochers who are just looking for free handouts.
Thanks
We need to be Wise as Serpents
and Gentle as Doves.

James 1:27
This is pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father,
to visit orphans and widows in their distress,
and to keep oneself unstained by the world.
John 6:5
When Jesus raised his eyes and saw that a large crowd was coming to him,
he said to Philip, “Where can we buy enough food for them to eat?”
John 6:26
Jesus answered,
“Very truly I tell you, you are looking for me,
not because you saw the signs I performed
but because you ate the loaves and had your fill.
Thanks, that’s another good example.
Looking at your “About” page got me to make my own States Visited map. Thanks for that motivation, too. And thanks to Uncle Sam who sent me to many of those places, whether I wanted to go or not.
