Sorry. But individuals make choices and must accept all consequences. If one embraces the neo pagan, hedonistic decadence that includes the casual use of mind altering drugs, death is more than an occasional consequence. Suspect the use of these drugs is more the norm in his dormitory, fraternity and math department at Berkeley than the exception.
