Kind of disjointed reporting. The four white activists were protesting the arrest of the white farmer and son and were arrested for that, right? How they were “inciting a riot” isn’t explained until you get through the whole article or I missed something.

I began following South Africa politics in the sixties and the system didn’t make sense then - blacks not allowed in cities after dark, carry “papers” at all times and it makes no sense now either. Can’t they reach a happy medium? I guess not.

The movie “Cry Freedom” with Denzel Washington portrayed it as it really was..

I've visited South Africa several times...both during apartheid and after. My most recent visit was 5 years ago. We stayed in a very affluent Johannesburg suburb while preparing to go to Kruger. It was like an armed camp. White people should get the
hell out if they can.
