They Finally Went Master Blaster on The Radical Left!

Back in 2021 I asked if it was time to go Master Blaster on The Radical Left. To provide the background:

If you’re not familiar with what the title of this post is referencing, back in the 80s Mel Gibson made a third Mad Max movie, often referred to by one word as part of it’s title, “Thunderdome.” While the Thunderdome part and Tina Turner’s performance as the leader of a semi lawless trading post called Bartertown gave the movie character, overall the film fell flat when it’s writers forgot that the story needed an ending. One other memorable piece of the film was a character called “Master Blaster”, the foreman who oversaw Bartertown’s energy production, via methane from pig Schiff. Being a prickly character, Master Blaster would occasionally embargo the energy to Bartertown as a reminder of the power he held.
The incident that led me to make this suggestion involved Lefty run company The North Face
A few months ago, The North Face (TNF), a left leaning outdoor apparel company, snubbed a requested order by an oil and gas company for reasons. Three months later the Colorado Oil and Gas Association gave TNF an award for all of the petroleum products that go into their manufacturing process. A few years ago I would have applauded this gesture, but not today. Granted, it was a damned clever move, but we’re in different times. I could drop dozens of stories about Leftist authoritarianism tied to the Climastrology cult, but if you’re reading this you already know plenty of them. The correct gesture today would be for their oil supplier to immediately end their contract with TNF, and to reach out to other potential suppliers and agree to embargo TNF.
My point is that if The Radical Left says they want something, they should be given it good and hard, no matter how much their actions contradict their words. I cited a few other shorter examples, and since then we've seen two situations relevant to what's happening today. Two years ago a convoy of truckers held a massive protest of Justin Castreau's authoritarian regime over The Fauci Flu. We're seeing bigger protests by European farmers objecting to the extinction policies of the Climastrology death cult that's controlling European leadership. I'm not sure if I've written this previously, but when I saw these protests I kept thinking  that it would be more effective to not protest or block roads, but to simply stop delivering to the cities handing down these Intolerable Acts. Until now.

Breitbart's Olivia Rondeau wrote the perfect 2024 headline to introduce the story, ‘F*** Around and Find Out’: Pro-Trump Truckers Boycott NYC After Civil Fraud Verdict.

Some Trump-supporting truckers are refusing to transport loads to and from New York City after the former president was fined $355 million and had his ability to run businesses in the state suspended in Friday’s civil fraud verdict.

A pro-Trump truck driver known as “Chicago Ray” posted a video to X following the verdict, sharing that he and several of his colleagues are declining NYC delivery jobs due to Manhattan Judge Arthur Engoron’s ruling.

Read the entire short post. It's high time for Master to say those magic words, "Embargo on!" The Radical Left keeps pushing this Cold Civil War (which I'd say launched with the mini Fort Sumters popping up in various Democrat run cities as "CHOP Zones" during the mostly peaceful murderous riots of 2020), and we should all be praying it never goes hot. Even beyond going master Blaster, New York is developing a reputation as a loser state and not only driving away businesses, but discouraging any new ones from launching as well. Today we've been seeing t-shirts saying "Make 1984 Fiction Again". How soon until we see shirts urging us to "Make Escape from New York" fiction again?

It would be neat if it were true. Unfortunately, I have word directly from a trucker on the ground that there are plenty of trucks delivering to the city, unloading food and goods. The guy who started the idea talked to maybe 10 other drivers who agreed to take part.

Hell the "Planet Erf" middle with the dumbass feral children was the problem, not the ending.

All Mad Max's have the exact same ending: carmageddon.

Word is that most truckers hate having to go into the city. Everything has to be paid in cash e.g. access to the yard, dock fee, lumper fee, pallets, etc etc. Plus the $100 toll just to get across the bridges. Nowhere to park the truck, and deliveries are 2am to 4am only or you lose a whole day in traffic. So few independents are willing to make the trip. The guy I got the word from is a company driver so he doesn’t deal with most of the red tape. But it’s mostly the independents who have the refrigerator trailers.

The upshot being that a lot of the refrigerator deliveries are done by some of the sketchier drivers or folks who aren’t necessarily completely legal and have ways around the fees.

That makes sense.

New York City has black market everything.

If you want to obey the rules you need to do business somewhere else.
