Earlier this week President Trump sat down for an interview with Laura Ingraham on FOX News.
During the interview Laura Ingraham asked Donald Trump about possible Trump running mates in 2024. Vivek Ramaswamy, Ron DeSantis, Byron Donalds, Tim Scott, Kristi Noem, and Tulsi Gabbard were names that Ingraham mentioned.
When asked about these names, President Trump agreed that these names were on his short list.

So, this is interesting, Tulsi Gabbard is going to headline a fundraiser at Mar-a-Lago next month.

Former Hawaii Rep. Tulsi Gabbard is slated to appear at former President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort next month.

According to an invitation shared exclusively with The Hill, Gabbard is set to be the keynote speaker at the 917 Society’s annual fundraiser on March 7 for a night in Palm Beach “celebrating the Constitution.”
The event comes after Trump, the current front-runner for the Republican nomination, acknowledged Gabbard is under consideration to be his vice presidential choice among several other contenders.
Dinner for the event costs $1,250, according to the invite.
Gabbard retired from Congress in 2021 after representing the Hawaii’s 2nd Congressional District. She spent much of her time in office as part of the progressive coalition, pushing further to the left than many of her liberal counterparts in the House.

Right...but she can damn well be part of Trump’s cabinet. Tulsi is not perfect (no politician is...) but she’s right enough times for me.
None of that matters.
I do notice the short list is not very short.
This is some smart thinking by Trump. He must appear to embrace some semblance of Swamp behavior until nominated. At that point, the only non Swamp option is Vivek.
The Number One Requirement Is Non Swamp. That means no previous political career.
So the requirements for VP are more stringent than the President ????
If he picks Tulsi for VP its game over for Trump as President, and the USA.
Tulsi Gabbard’s mother was born in Indiana.
I like Christy Noem better BUT Kelsi would bring in more votes. But her in charge of something like violations of free speech or something like that.
She’s speaking this afternoon at CPAC. There was a barn burner speech by Mark Robinson this morning! He’s currently Lt. Gov. of NC, now running for Gov.
She has been mentioned often as a VP for Kennedy. Maybe trying to get his attention ?
Of course, we'd also need real conservatives, as well, not these red-meat throwing phonies infesting Congress.
He will pick the prettiest one.
She won’t be Trump’s pick. But not for the goofy and untrue reason you give.

I’ve been told that Obama’s mother who was born in Kansas was still ineligible to pass on NBC to Varack.
She was too young when she gave birth.

Gabbard staked out a spot among Democrats...become the darling of the right while still being on the left simply by stating a few obvious truths and continuing to support leftist causes. She’s like the reverse Manchin or reverse John McCain...a “maverick” don’t ya know...
Interesting idea. I do like Tulsi Gabbard. I don’t agree with her on some things but is sane and pro-America.
Pro abortion, anti 2nd, and so much more.
Honestly Trump would be better off picking a right of center Democrat rather than a Uniparty RINO.
But why chose either? There are good conservative picks like Scott and Noem.
I'm too the point that I don't trust anyone that has held elective office for any length of time. Too much time to be compromised.

Then that leaves only Vivek as an option.
